- Training Dr. Niall Breen (MICGP) is the newest member of our team, joining the practice in 2016.
He graduated from medicine in UCD in 2007 and completed his higher specialist training on the TCD/HSE GP Training Scheme in 2013. Originally from Donegal, Niall has lived, studied and worked in Dublin since 2001.
Niall was runner-up in the ICGP’s ‘Quality in Practice Award’ in 2012 and won the McArdle prize in surgery in his final year of medicine.
He has a diploma in Child Health (DCH UK) in 2013 and a diploma in Healthcare Economics (DHE) in 2015, along with some published original research.
In his spare time Dr Niall tries to keep fit and loves sport, mainly following soccer, GAA and rugby.
He is a season ticket holder for Lansdowne Road and a regular visitor to Croke Park every Summer too (depending on Donegal's fortunes!)
Niall sees patients of all ages and backgrounds and has completed over 1,300 travel medicine consults in his former capacity working with the Tropical Medicine Bureau.
